Bodmin is a parish and town in central North Cornwall, surrounded by beautiful countryside, rugged moorland, and woodland.

Historically, Bodmin was a seat of Cornish rebellion against the English. Local traditions include 'hurling' a silver ball around the bounds of the town. The person carrying the ball when they reach the Turret Clock in Fore Street being the winner.
