Tresco Blockhouse ~ Canvas
*Size indicates the dimensions of the mounted image, excluding frame.
The Story: The Old Blockhouse, also known as the Dover Fort, is a 16th-century fortification on the island. It was built between 1548 and 1551 by the government of Edward VI to protect the islands against French attack. It provides a photographer with a dream backdrop of white sand beaches and turquoise waters. In my opinion Blockhouse has some of the best views Scilly has to offer.
