St. Helens ~ Photograph

The Story: As my boat wasn’t in the water yet I took the opportunity to paddleboard to St. Helens on a lovely calm day day. As I was padding between Tresco and St. Helen’s I was greeted by an Apache helicopter flying down the channel, about 60ft above my head. It was quite the sight to see as we normally only get Merlin helicopters training here.

The building in the picture is steeped in history as it was the old Pest House, which housed plague-ridden sailors.
